Most Helpful Positive Review YHM Free Float Forearm
YHM delivers again. Strong, comfortable, quality. I compared this to a Chinese made free float forearm I got for $50 off gun broker and the YHM is well worth the few extra bucks. You can easily see and feel the superior quality of the YHM product.

Great price for great product

Excellent quality and machining. Installed very easy. This model is perfect because it allows the barrel to cool yet is also smooth and comfortable around the hand guard with minimal rails exactly where needed for accessories. The price from OP beats everyone by a long way.

Another great product by YHM. Really impressed with the quality and look. I'm not really interested in the aggressive look of the quad rail or key mod forends out there so this was a good fit and the price wasn't bad either.
Pros:
  • Comfortable grip compared to quad rails.

Very good quality

I bought this to change out my Anderson Arms AR-15. It was easy to install once the original parts were off. Looks very nice and is light weight. My only wish is that I came with or you could by a front cap to finish it off. Still gets 5 stars as it is worth it even without that cosmetic piece.

  • ALL AROUND USE

YHM Smooth Free Float Forearm

Forearm is well put together and included all parts I needed for my install. Finish on part(s) were good, all parts mated as they should.

Directions provided allowed for an easy and problem free install.

Forearm was installed on a MK12 copy. Look is outstanding and forearm functions as required when being used with a bipod adaptor and bipod.

Very pleased with the results.

Great price on a great forearm

I prefer the smooth style forearms vs a full quad-rail for improved grip and comfort w/o gloves. This is a fantastic combination of smooth grip area with rail sections where you would want them. I liked my 1st one so well I bought a second one for a different build.
