StotyTimeDavidCollins's Review of Yankee Hill Machine Six Inch Rail Extension 0.5 Inch Riser YHM-9473

I’ve been a gun collector since I was seven years old.
My dad was a Korean War combat veteran and in 1955 he and his veteran friends formed the Fontana Land Rovers Four Wheel Drive Club so practically everyone that I knew was a veteran of these here United States of America as a kid. We had a guy who had served in the Spanish American War, another guy who rode with Black Jack Pershing chasing Poncho Viea across the desert, a bunch of guys that served in WWI-WWII and Korea and everyone had guns and the world was a better place.
The first time I shot a gun I was just 3 years old and when I was 5 I got my first BB gun.
When I was four years old in the summer of 1970 I started working at my dads full service gas station putting gas in cars, at seven I started turning wrenches as a mechanic and that is when I started getting paid and buying guns and motorcycles.
I still have all of my first and family guns, but non of the motorcycles because there was always something better or newer.
So I’ve had a great time shooting guns for fun, hobbies, hunting, competitions, sporting, defense and protection.
In the entrance of trying to find, have and keep the very best tools for all of that I picked up an IWI Israel made Tavor 7 in 308 / 7.62X51mm NATO and having had the experience of being a mechanic, fabricator, racing Bikes, Quads, off road Trucks and the like I’ve learned to make use of different tools, equipment and parts for other reasons than they were invented for.
As such I have used this rail extension inverted as a mounting rail extension.
It looks like it should work out perfectly.
I still have a few more things to do to the Tavor 7 and I’ve had it since December or 2023 and now it’s July of 24 and I still haven’t even fired a single shot yet or completed it yet, but this part should work out well.
I thought that I was able to include a photo or two, but no dice .
Tavor 7 are a bull pup design with only about five inches of a available pic rail on the bottom so with adding this rail upside down I more than doubled my rail space, adding a vertical grip and hand stop further out for more of a better grip length.
