Nice complete upper
I wanted a good complete upper with a quad rail and this is it! And nice iron sights. I put about 100 rounds through it so far with no flaws
fairly light fit nice and snug on my Core15 lower.. total wieght 7.8lbs with no optics's

Malfunctioning Joke
The upper has not functioned regardless of ammunition being used. Something is seriously out of spec. YHM customer service is terrible and keeps insisting I not use anything but Black Hills Ammunition which is about 3x more than other brands which work just fine in other rifles....
YHM upper first shoot
Great shooting upper, like the sites it comes with. Great for 50 yards, more than that front post is too large. I put a Nikon 223 scope on it, haven't shot it yet. Just plop it on your lower and you're all set for the range. I shot a mix of 223 and 556 with no issues

Had to return. Defective from factory. Verified by gunsmith
I purchased this upper to complete a gun I planned to use for 3-gun competition and sport shooting. There were immediate issues that could not be remedied and the gun was sent to a professional gun smith for evaluation. The gunsmith determined that the barrel included in this upper was defective. The best that the gun could shoot regardless of scope and shooting rests is a 6 inch group at 50 yards. The tests were conducted using factory XM193 military grade ammunition. This was the biggest disappointment in any firearm purchase I have ever made.
