I've had this for years and it works great
I have had this gas block for a few years. I don't think they even make it any more, but I really like it. I just put a Midwest Industries free float quad rail, 9.5" long on my AR15 carbine with the carbine gas tube. My Midwest Industries handguard just barely fits around this gas block, and just barely extends past it. I think that this was just lucky on my part, but it looks and works amazing.

Does not work with Guntec Slim hand guards
The upper bridge is incredibly thick and won’t fit under the guntec slim ultralights. Also very heavy because of its thickness. Unfortunately it is not obvious at first and I attempted to mount the hand guard, which resulted in both the inside of the hand guard and outside of the gas block being scraped up.
