Zeiss Quality
The quality and features of this scope are better than the old Conquests. But the price has bumped up too. I bought for the locking turrets and they don't disappoint. There's enough elevation change for any distance I'm likely to shoot.
Pros: Clear, lock plex turrets work slick.
Cons: Priced higher than old Conquest, no illuminated option. 50mm option would be nice.
Quality scope
We have always used decent scopes but this is our first Zeiss. Awesome quality on the scope. Very clear and well built. Put the scope on 300 win mag and it works flawlessly. Scope adjusts like advertised

Excellent scope!
Great scope for hunting or longe range shooting. Can't beat Zeiss' warranty, either. The HD5 series is the best in class. Can't wait for hunting season to start. Thanks to Optics Planet for great prices and service.

zeiss conquest
I have many zeiss rifle scopes from the terra series on up. I have always found there scopes one of the best in clarity and durability and ease of use in the field. I have hunted many places in the world and in many climates and never had one fail me.

zeiss hd5 riflescope
This scope appears well made.The eyepiece focus worked better and faster than I
anticipated.scope made my rifle a little beaver than expected.I shot it alongside
a Leupold and noticed that the zeiss reticle was a bit thicker so it should be a better sighting device during the low light hours of the day. I have yet to try
Rapid z system so I can not comment on that.

Awesome scope
Great scope, absolutely love it, but like most things German-made they could be a little more user friendly, specifically the wind./elev. indicators. I also like when the A.O. can be used as a rough range estimator. Nit-picking really as I don't mind either but room for improvement.
