Big let down
The sight picture blurs away from center very badly. The clarity of the glass is great in the center of the reticle only. Even on the lowest magnification, the edges are terrible. CONQUEST V4 3-12x44 Rifle Scope
The package came very quickly and was in great shape. We're using the scope as a raffle prize, so the box hasn't been opened yet. The scope is helping us sell lots of raffle tickets.

Solid scope
Really solid scope. Sure it’s a little blurry around the sides but who cares when it’s crystal clear down the recital. Sighted it in on a Wednesday and had a deer on the ground on Thursday. Can’t complain about it at all. It’s exactly what I expected out of a Zeiss.

Excellent scope
I mounted this scope on a .270 Winchester rifle. The optics are very clear and bright, as you would expect from Zeiss. While sighting in, the adjustments were crisp and accurate. This particular rifle is very accurate, and the scope performed well. I would recommend this scope for hunting or target shooting.

Glass Is Nice, Turrets Don't Have Tick Marks All The Way Around
The glass is fine. No real complaints. But what gets me is, the turrets don't have tick marks all the way around. The tick marks only go 2 MOA to the left and right of a 0 mark on both elevation and windage. Windage, okay... I can live with that. But elevation? On a Second Focal Plan scope with a simply crosshair reticle? The turrets NEED to have tick marks for each click for the full 360* of the turret so I can tell where my adjustments are! One nice feature is the lift up and zero capability, but the elevation turret is next to useless if you want a lean profile scope without a 9' tall turret on top to adjust elevation with. Leave it to Zeiss -- a German name -- to create a problem in an expensive scope that's solved and never was a problem in cheap scopes.

Kurt grosser
I bought this scope for my light weight remington 700 hunting rifle. with the 30 mm tube, it was too big and bulky so I sent it back. The scope had amazing clarity, the larger tube helped let light in and I would get another one for a heavy rifle.
