Might be a convert! - Zeiss Terra 3X 3-9x42mm Rifle Scope w/ Hunting Turret 522701

I grew up with nothing but Leupold scopes, living about 20 minutes from where each one was made. Got this scope to try something different on a Savage Weather Warrior I bought as a backup. Was about to grab my "go to" -- a standard Leupold VX-II, and these caught my eye. I was hesitant because every time I ventured away from Leupold I was extremely disappointed, even after spending much more money. The Zeiss just felt solid, so I took a chance. Taking it to the range side by side with a VX-II, the clarity was noticeably better. Extremely surprised and happy. I think it's tough to beat Leupolds rugged reliability, but from a glass stand point for the same price, the Zeiss takes it.
Pros: Best clarity for the price
Cons: Wish aluminum flip up covers were available
