Just another expensive paper weight!
For this amount cash just to find this scope is not suitable for magnum calibers such as my 338 Win Mag even a 7mm Rem Mag or 300 Win Mag, you will not find this scope on any of my firearms. I'll stick to my Leupold scopes which are Alaska proven! Zeiss, just another expensive paper weight!
Zeiss Terra
Great glass for the money. Clear and crisp out to the edges.Eye focus is easy and simple. Mounted on a 35 Remington and it hasn't moved zero. I have another on 7mm 08 and it hasnt really worked well in low light conditions.Recommend for a lower end scope.

Edge to edge clarity...
Have a Conquest MC on a TC Encore and it is great, went with the Terra 3-9x42 for my son’s Ruger American. Nice and light but lots of distortion around the outside of the scope. Not at all what I expected out of this scope. Probably sell it after season and buy a different brand.

zeiss terra 3x 3-9x42 rifle scope
liked the quality and clarity of the first one a bought, so i bought one more. i mounted the one on a t/c encore in 38/55 caliber and the other one going on a winchester limited 1885 38/55. i had a leupold 3x9x40 on the t/c and changed it to the zeiss because it was easier to adjust.

Zeus terra great scope for CZ model 527
Great scope for the money. Shot it today,very clear and easy to focus for different shooters. Held zero and grat performance. Put on a CZ model 527 and was easy to sight in and shoot. Had no problem with mounting and had great service from Optic Planet.

Deer hunter
Bought this scope to put on a CZ 550fs. I looked at a variety of 3-9 scopes and most were to long for a rifle with a manlicher stock. The zeiss was just the right length. Since my son has the 4-12 on his Pro hunter, I was pretty comfortable with selecting this scope. It was easy to bore sight and just as easy to zero at 100 yards. At total of 6 shots and the job was done. Gave the scope 4 star because it the first year of use.

- Crosshairs are easier to see with glasses

Great Scopes!!
I have 2 of these 3 X 9 X 40 scopes. One with the RZ6 reticle on a 270 and one standard reticle on a 30-06. Both have great clarity and easily adjusts. They pull in a lot of light for early morning and late evening hunting. They are also tough, my 270 fell over in my Polaris and hit directly on the scope. One shot check and it had never moved, killed a deer a couple weeks later.

Impressed
Received this scope about 3 weeks ago and immediately mounted it to my Sig 556 assault rifle. Took about 2, 10-round clips to sight her in @ 100 yards. I do feel the magnification is too strong on the high end of this scope for most of my applications, so I almost always have it minimized out @3X magnification.
You never know when that coyote is just going to appear while out hunting, so the 9X magnification may prove useful yet!

Quality Scope
I had this scope mounted on my Sig 556 Classic Swat just recently and I have to say the quality/clarity this Zeiss has is excellent. The eye relief is awesome, you wont have to worry about giving yourself a black eye due to recoil. I am an avid shooter and believe in the philosophy that a rifle's optics make or break a shot downrange. I've looked through Swarovski, Leupold, Nikon, Nightforce, etc and I can honestly say that this Zeiss holds great value at its current price. You will not be disappointed in buying this scope.
