Very Sharp!
I received my pair of Zeiss Terra Ed Compact Pocket Binocular 10x25 from Optics Planet a few days ago. It looks to be very well made. The Terra ED's produce (subjectively to me) sharper images compared to an older pair of Zeiss compacts I own, using them side by side viewing small fruit blossoms. The Terra's snap into focus with natural colors. My pair is marked "Japan" on the binoculars and the box.
The focus wheel on my pair was initially tight and difficult to turn smoothly with 1 finger, but it's getting smoother with a little use. Hinges are nice and tight. The surface is textured ...

Terra ED Pocket 10x25mm
The vision is crystal clear, and quickly focuses. Great for daytime viewing. Lightweight and small enough to fit in a pocket or purse. I am very happy with it and is exactly what I hoped for.

Steiner 10x28
Excellent glass for the money. I initially bought the Zeiss Terra 10x25 but sent them back due to dissatisfaction with the optical quality. The Steiners are much better optically and more usable with cold hands or gloves on due to slightly larger overall size and adjustments.

Can't go wrong with Zeiss
I got these to carry in my EDC bag and they work great, the clarity and brightness were everything you'd expect from Zeiss. There a bit larger than I hoped, but the next option from Zeiss cost twice as much and I didn't want to spend that much. These binoculars work great when your out hiking and you need to scope things out. I would recumbent them for general use but not if your hunting and need a wider field of view.
