Zev Charging Handle
I’m not a huge fan. It doesn’t have a spring operated latch, which I prefer. It’s a bit difficult to get the latch off the notch on the upper. It’s not terrible if you’re just charging or manually ejecting a round, but it’s noticeable when you’re trying to do less overt movements like press checks.

Scratched the heck out of my upper. The spring load catch doesn't function as intended, it's destructive. Do not use this product, give it to someone you don't like. The manufacturer owes me an upper imo.

Zev ambi charging handle
I mean its a charging handle. lol obviously some are better than others. Its made from good quality materials basically a mega handle with a zev logo on it. Still gets the job done. Ive installed it and avid AR builder work in a gun shop in Las Vegas. Again it does the job and matches my zev receiver set.
Pros:
- ambi and small profile. Latches are big enough not quite bcm mod 4 big, about the same size as raptor handles slightly smaller, not much.
Cons:
- The latches dont pivot, only locking mechanism that secures onto upper receiver. Curious on longivity, so far it does the job. I do run my rifles hard so i will run it through its courses.
Best Used for:
- Umm.. duh charging your rifle. lol
