I bought this scope to use for High Power rifle spotting. I have used it from 200 to 600 yards and it is a good starting option for this purpose. I have old eyes (55 years) so it was not a lot of help in spotting bullet holes at 200 yards when you are in medium to low light at your own range, but in competition where you are looking for the scoring disks and checking mirage it is clear and concise for such a low cost option. It will compare favorably to some of the 80mm scopes that cost more.
