I have been shooting for most of my life in and out of the military and have used 7 or 8 different bipods. The DLOS-SS is my newest addition to my precision rifle kit and I will be selling 2 of my other $250+ bipods to make room for another. The familiarity of the Harris bipod functionality combined with smooth panning, canting, and quick detach is worth the money for me. Its a high quality bipod and you get what you pay for. If your shooting style doesnt require quick target acquisition on uneven terrain, or prolonged hard use across multiple rifles then there are other options out there for you.
