The ZRODelta Mission Ready 9.85 barrel pairs nicely with a 9 inch handguard. It seems accurate enough at 100 yards with M855 and M192 5.56. I haven't tried any .223 or any steel case but I don't have any doubts that it will run fine. Paired with an A5 length buffer tube it shoots pretty smooth.
