Product Info for Rocky Mountain Hunting Calls Lil' Flirt
A new addition to the Rocky Mountain family, the Lil' Flirt has a cut in the latex that makes it a little easier to stretch the sound of the call. This call is specifically designed for the beginner to intermediate caller. The thin red plastic allows the caller to produce very soft clucks, cackles and purrs as well as higher, raspier yelps and cackles. The longer the note a diaphragm is open, the easier it is to make a given note. As a beginning caller, you will be hard pressed to make an exact duplicate note. As your skills and experience improve, you will find you can make increasingly difficult notes. One easy way to stretch your yelps is to apply a little pressure and give a small swath of air pressure while blowing through the end of the reed. This will give the call a little stretch and the air will come out the back end of the diaphragm.
