Men's high-performance, adaptable Wildfire Edge GTX Climbing Shoes from Salewa are made for modern technical approaches and scrambling. This high-performance, adaptable hiking shoe can be easily converted from hiking mode to climbing mode. Just tighten the laces for hiking mode, and for a roomier toebox, loosen the laces for climbing mode. The Wildfire Edge features the patented Switchfit technology, allowing you to easily switch from hiking to climbing mode by adjusting the fit of the shoe. Simply loosen the laces for a roomier toebox and return to hiking mode for greater comfort. Inside the highly abrasion-resistant suede leather and microfibre upper, the thin, extremely breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane provides maximum comfort in a wide variety of climate ranges and protection from wet weather. It keeps your feet dry, while still allowing moisture vap to escape. From hiking to climbing, the Wildfire Edge GTX provides an excellent combination of flexibility, traction, and support with trademark Alpine Fit: a perfect fit and support for every foot. Special lugs ensure traction on mud and soft ground, and the special tread design provides grip in wet conditions. The outsole has been designed with special lugs for improved grip on y favorite boulders, icicles, and slick surfaces. It has a Pomoca Speed MTN sole for high friction on smooth rock and slabs. The Wildfire Edge GORE-TEX Climbing Shoes feature a Trek sole construction for climbing precision and control. Inside the Wildfire Edge GORE-TEX Climbing Shoes, you'll find a thin, abrasion-resistant suede leather and microfibre upper for good abrasion resistance and shock absorption, providing a natural rolling motion and great comfort. The Speed MTN sole from Pomoca represents an excellent combination of high quality materials, excellent design and performance. It was studied and tested and supports the foot with torsional stability and energy return.image
