Yes you can connect the HDT-20 to your Sony Amplifier with either Analog or Digital Optical and Coaxial SPDIF Outputs, This unit comes with a FM Dipole Antenna which in most areas is sufficient.

This is a great tuner. FM has a great tuner & the HD stations give you great choices. The AM tuner seems a little weak but no worse than any other AM tuner I have ever had. Still a fantastic tuner.
