The SIG SAUER MCX/MPX Collapsible Stock will not be compatible with a standard AR15 lower receiver. This stock is designed to attach to a 1913 interface on the back of the MCX/MPX receiver. The AR15 requires a buffer system to function, this would eliminate that and make it non-operational.
Great PDW stock. Very strong and sturdy. Very well made. Wish it worked on the MCX conversion kit, but buyer be ware it does NOT. It wont collapse and is blocked by the buffer tube connection on the AR lower .

Purchased the stock to replace the original folding brace stock that came with my MPX. This product fits great and less bulky.
I would definitely recommend this product for the MPX.
When extended it wobbles just a bit. Tight lockup when closed and mostly when extended. Will extend almost fully when button is depressed, but won’t reliably lock out.
