How does the tape switch operate? Press and hold for momentary; press and release for constant-on; etc?

Press and hold. Pretty solid and low profile. It's compatible with surefire and modlight switches though.

The light kit comes with everything you need to mount it to your rifle be it M-lok or 1913 my new go to weapon light. Streamlight screwed me once and still waiting on the repair or replacement.

The light is very bright with a good hotspot at 50 to 75 yards. Really like the switch included and all the additional connections. I have the short version and for the PCC I’m using it on it’s a good length.
