The Smith & Wesson Slide Assembly includes an optic cover plate with screws. The size of the screws is not mentioned by Smith and Wesson. It will fit optics with the RMSc or Holosun K footprint and work with the screws provided.
Just received this, put this on my Shield and shot it at the range. Works just fine so far. Now on to try mounting the red-dot using the pre-drilled holes.
Had to replace my existing slide due to my original slide having an internal failure. Purchased this one, swapped it in, mounted a 507k to it, loving my S&W M&P Shield 9 once more.
Great product works perfectly with my red dot sight. Took it to the range and it worked flawlessly. I would definitely recommend this slide which is optic ready to anyone.
