Most Helpful Negative Review Was new with missing parts. Did not Fire

Poor quality control

I literally spent over an hour hand drilling out the mounting holes on a new Osight SE (since the aluminum Osight was softer than trying to modify the slide posts). I eventually got the sight to “lay flat”, mounted it, and zeroed it (seems to work, now). This is NOT the kind of product I expected from S&W… I do NOT recommend this slide, unless you are able to try it out first

Perfect set up for my My shield, the optic foot print perfectly matched to my eps carry K series Holoson. It’s not super easy to buy optics ready firearms here in California, so this is a great solution to those in need of a quality optic ready slide for your shield or shield +.

Great option instead of machining original slide

This factory original pre cut option, was a great instead of machining my original slide, and I can still have the original as a back up

Red Dot Footprint Not Milled Correctly

This is supposed to be cut for an RMSc or Holosun K. My HS407k will not seat properly as the front posts on the slide are too big. A big waste of time. Sent it back.

disappoint

I can not recommend this slide. It looks great. Good quality. But I tried to fit two osight optics on it. And they would not seat properly on the front post. The post were squared off too much and would not fit into the circle holes of the sight. I was trying the osight se and osight k models. Both which are made for the shield plus. I can not attach a pic or I would show you. I have not heard back from optics planet yet. Returned today.

I really like my new slide with the optic cut now my iron sights co-witness with my red dot so much faster to get back on target for your second shot . my stock slide I had an adapter plate which put the dot so much higher than the barrel yeah, I really like my new slide
