CIVIVI Civivi Praxis 3.75" Coarse Micarta/ Stonewashed 3.75 in Stainless Steel Folding Knife
Action is nice. Flips easy. The blade is secure when locked.
Wood finish had a slight imperfection but a little oil and it buffed out well. Stonewash finish is well done.
Blade is sharp and is holding g the edge well so far.

Red Dot Footprint Not Milled Correctly
Written on Apr 18, 2026
This is supposed to be cut for an RMSc or Holosun K. My HS407k will not seat properly as the front posts on the slide are too big. A big waste of time. Sent it back.

Three issues
Written on Jan 24, 2026
There were three things wrong with this slide. First, it did not come with the fiberoptic front sight as advertised. Second, there was rust on the inside of the slide where the slide cover plate fits. Finally, the firing safety pin was stuck so it would not be drop safe.
I tried oiling the firing pin safety and plunging it a few times to loosen up any burs or cerakote. It did not help. I am not screwing around with a safety feature. It is not worth it.
I had another LFA slide and it was great. Sad to see this one fail miserably.

RIA 1911 A1: good fit
Written on Apr 01, 2021
After adjustment of the tension screw, it fit snug. Clean draw and intuitive release mechanism. Easy reholster.
If you plan on using an RTI adapter, you will need to get some nylon spacers. The nuts sit high above the plastic and the adapter won’t sit flush. Spacers solved the problem. Works great with the rti wheel.
Conceals reasonably flat with an untucked shirt.

RIA 1911 A1 10mm: fits with slight modification

Review for
Wilson Combat 1911 Magazine Well
I had to dremel the hooks a bit to clear the screws but it was not a lot of work. Solid fit and lines up well. You will need to make a channel on your grips but I expected that. It was not that hard. Bluing is dark and even. Matches the black hardware well. This profile which I like. The magwell is shallow enough for your rubber bumpers to extend and get a positive magazine seat.

Wilson Combat 1911 Magazine Well
I added this to a RIA 1911 A1 10mm. I had to Dremel the hooks just a tiny bit to get them seated properly. My G10 grips needed a bit of filing too but I expected that. The “blued” version is black which matches the black hardware of the gun.

Works as advertised

If you hate magazine disconnects, you will like this product. Install did not require any special tools, and was relatively easy if you know your way around the gun. My magazines now fly out when I hit the mag release button. Now it works like every other pistol.

such an improvement

I hated the fact I could not operate the Mark III like all my other semi autos. This product does the trick. Now I can put a mag in, rack it and shoot.
It is not the easiest to install but not that hard if you are patient. No special tools or machining required. Drop it is an go.

Perfect for traditional stock on Ruger PCC9
Written on Jan 13, 2021
Review for
GrovTec US Hollow Stock Push Button Base
This product allowed me to install a qd cup exactly where I needed it on my Ruger PCC9. The standard stock has a traditional sling swivel attachment point that is fine if you are a hunter but not all that useful for more modern self-defense sling techniques.
I wanted to place a qd on the right side of the stock, i am right handed, so I could transition from one shoulder to the next without the sling in the way.
Installing was quick. Just drill and tap the stock, and loctite the nut. You are good to go.
I have had it for a year and no issues.
