The Smith & Wesson Slide Assembly includes an optic cover plate with screws. The size of the screws is not mentioned by Smith and Wesson. It will fit optics with the RMSc or Holosun K footprint and work with the screws provided.

You’d think the slide specifically milled for the Holosun ‘k’ footprint optic would be drilled and tapped for it too. Nope. You’ll need #6-32 1/2” machine screws.

Just received this, put this on my Shield and shot it at the range. Works just fine so far. Now on to try mounting the red-dot using the pre-drilled holes.
