Product Info for Sniper AR-15 Extended Pistol Buffer Tube Kit
The XTP kit features a non-symmetrical shape with a single large and a single small end cylinder to provide a smooth, balanced look and feel to the upper receiver. The non-symmetric shape allows the use of a standard buffer in stead of two smaller buffers, which is the standard configuration on most AR platform rifles. This design makes the use of a buffer weight in stead of two small buffers. This design makes use of a single large spring to reduce reciprocal mass and reduce felt recoil. With this design the held weight of the buffer does not change, therefore balance of the buffer tube remains equal. The recoil bumper is a standard carbine buffer but with a smaller length. For shorter carbine buffer tubes, use a shorter carbine buffer tube and a shorter recoil pad.
