Meant to buy #007 for the car15 sized hand guards but received #008 instead. Sling fits fine just curious what the difference between 007 and 008 are. Expert Answer

Product 007 is for the CAR-15 and product 008 is for the M-4. The difference is the size of the handguard.

Specter Gear has several models designed to fit nearly all possible collapsible stock M-4 and CAR-15 variant configurations.

These slings are 1.25 inches wide, fully ambidextrous and available with or without an Emergency Release Buckle (ERB).

Please Note: The rear adapter for this sling is designed to fit standard Mil-Spec collapsible buttstocks, such as the ones shown below. Aftermarket, or non-standard stocks such as the Crain or VLTOR types can be accommodated but will require a different rear adapter. If this applies to your weapon, please call or email with your stock type at the time you place your order.
