Why is it that when you try to run a gas line through air, it actually pushes the air tighter? Because the air gets sucked in tighter and the fluid has less momentum, the air can't squeeze out. Instead, the Spirotherm 150 series will strip the air from the fluid stream with their patented Spirotube technology, and allow the air to break free in a low velocity, low turbulence removal chamber. Any air drawn into the line before the Spirotherm 150 will cause the orifice to dilate (cave up or down). Any slack that can be removed with a diaphragm, a relief valve or an inline booster pump will allow the orifice to close and the air will be trapped. The only way to eliminate or reduce the flow of air is to simply open the valve and let the air out the same way, the natural process of rusting will occur. The only way to eliminate or reduce the air is to simply open and close the valve (scrub the air from the system fluid and allow it to break free).![]()
