My new favorite edc. It came extremely sharp. I love how the wire clip sits in my pocket. The action is drop shut right out of the box and the ergonomics are great.

This knife is better than I expected. The action is smooth and drop shut right out of the box. There was no break in period like there was with my G-10 versions. It is comfortable in hand and disappears in the pocket. This makes an excellent edc.

Product Info for Spyderco Lightweight Sage 5 3in Folding Knife

Spyderco’s popular Sage Series is a distinctive family of folding knives that uses a single design theme to showcase influential lock designs and honor their inventors. Highlighting our own Compression Lock mechanism, the Sage 5 is so popular we decided to take it a step further by offering it in a lightweight format.image

Its injection-molded FRN scales have a Bi-Directional Texture pattern for a non-slip grip and are home to nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners, a reversible deep-pocket wire clip, and a full-flat-ground CPM S30V blade. Weighing 13 percent less than the standard Sage 5, the Lightweight version also sports a special bushing that ensures precise pivot tensioning and an ultra-smooth action.
