in this case, it’s for my snubby 38 revolver. Corbon DPX is my go to load for all calibers that I carry. I’m especially happy about how fast Optics Planet actually shipped it and got it to me. I was very surprised. good job!

This is a solid budget work knife. Very sharp out of the box. Action is a bit stiff but lightens up a bit after working it a bit and a little bit of oil on the pivot and where the lock meets the blade. Has a deep carry clip that is reversable, but I'm not sure of the point because this particular model is bright orange, which doesn't conceal well. Also, it could use a lanyard hole, although the hole in the pocket clip could secure a lanyard (that's just me - I like a lanyard on my knives - easier to pull from the pocket). Appreciate that it is USA made and "forever" warrantied. (As a side note: buy this from a reputable US dealer - there are fakes from China that are not as good quality).

This is a great knife. Great feel, solid, sharp, tough steel. Never disappointed with Spyderco.
And they beat Benchmade - quality, design, variety, and price, including budget versions, plus they allow sellers to apply coupons. Benchmade doesn't.

I carry this unless I need a tougher work knife in my pocket. Slicey and 5th pocketable. Good blade steel. Down from 5 to 4 stars for 2 reasons - 1) not sure there’s an advantage over a Dragonfly, which is quite a bit less expensive; and 2) really needs a lanyard hole. I put lanyards on most of my EDC knives, especially the smaller ones because they’re harder to access in my pockets than the larger ones without a lanyard.

I really like Knafs knives. I have 2 Lander 1 (<3”) for the (right and left pockets) and this one for more serious work. These are moderately priced, easy to maintain, very flippy and drop-shutty. comfortable dimensionally to a bug out but tougher due to the steel liner, I would not hesitate to use this for moderate work and leave the Benchmade priced 50% more in my nightstand.

Only 4 stars due to the price, but this is a quality EDC that I am happy to own.

It’s a pleasure to use - big, bright, larger eyepieces than I’m accustomed to on my old compact units - so easy on the eyes - easy to align. Quite light compared to the old brass body units.

This is a very light, very sharp, very well-made knife. I prefer the wire pocket clip on the lightweight over the flat-spoon kind on many Spydercos. I'm a lefty and the compression lock keeps my finger out of the blade's path regardless of which hand is holding the knife. And better than a back lock, the Sage (like the PM3) is plenty fidgety - and I like to fidget with my knives. Folders that require accessing the lock by putting your finger in the blade path are not fidget friendly. All-in-all - a great knife.

This is a good quality product, but I think its ability to fit over glasses is somewhat oversold. My glasses are not particularly large but theseover-specs don't fit over my every day glasses, so they are useless for that. I will keep them for whan I wear wire-smaller framed glasses and I will make them available for use by my friends and shooting students when we go to the range.

I installed this on my S&W 642 with no difficulty. I had already removed the roll pin from the bottom of the frame in order to install the previous frame so that did not hold up the installation. I found the extension to reliably pop out with very little pressure on the button. What became evident was that it will probably pop out when I don't want it to. I am not sure if that is a problem or not because I haven't carried the gun much - I don't know whether having it pop out in my pocket will make it difficult to draw so I'll leave that issue alone. What I did not like was the coarseness of the stippling in the plastic. It is hard plastic and the stippling is not very comfortable. I guess I have wimpy hands. What I did was cut a rubber grip sleeve to fit over the grip but not over the button and shot it for the first time last week. It was like having a pinky rest on the bottom of a magazine and did what the grip was supposed to do. I definitely shot better with it than I would have with the original boot grip. For now I am keeping it on the gun as I consider it an improvement.
