The Spyderco Des-Horn Black G10 Folding Plain Edge Pocket Knife C153GP has been designed in Cape Town, South Africa by Des Horn, a renowned knifemaker since the 1960s. The blade on this Knife from Spyderco, combines elements of both a Spear-Point and a Wharncliffe shapes and tapers to a super-fine, flat-ground, Plain Edged tip. The Spyder-Co Des Horn Fine Edge Knife is made with a CPM S30V high-carbon blade that is highly edge-retentive, and features powdered steel manufactured by Crucible Inc. The G10 handle on this SpyderCo Pocket Knife tapers in a mirror image of the blade, that narrows at the tip and takes on a spike-like profile with a horizontal straight on the bottom of the knife running from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. The handle of the Spyderco Folding Des Horn G10 Black Handle Stainless Steel Knife is made with a Michael Walker Liner Lock while outside the G-10 scales come assembled with an adjustable pivot and scale screws.
