Is this electronic lock emp and magnetic proof? Manufacturer Answer

Hello ,
Thank you for your question. The lock is not EMP / magnetic proof. This model does with a back up key mode of entry ensuring you can access you contents should there be a lock failure.

Stack-On 36-40 S Total Defense 40 Gun Safes are built to protect your valuables from flood and fire while offering a number of user-friendly features that make them easy to open and secure. These Gun Safes by Stack-On are Electronic with a backup key and an electronic lock, and include a factory-installed electrical outlet and factory-installed door organizer with sewn-in pouches and holsters. This Stack-On 36-40 Ruger Safe is fireproof for 75 minutes up to 1400 F and waterproof in up to 2 ft. of standing water for 72 hours, offering plenty of protection for all of your important documents, weapons, and other valuables. Using the factory-installed 4-way live action locking bolts and three dead bolts, this safe is effectively protected against any intruder. Prevent theft and prying with the electronic lock that accepts a 3-8 digit combination and includes a backup key. Stack-On 36-40 S Total Defense Gun Safes are easy to open with a personalized 3- to 8-digit combination and include a factory-installed electrical outlet. Features of Stack-On 36-40 Gun-Safe, Fireproof, Waterproof

  • Fireproof for 75 minutes up to 1400 F and Waterproof in up to 2 ft. of standing water for 72 hours. (Safe must be bolted to floor to maintain warranty)
  • Electronic lock stores a 3-8 digit code and includes a backup key for convenience
  • 4-way door locking with seven 1.5" tapered live action locking bolts and three 1 dead bolts for a total of 10 locking points
  • Fully-adjustable interior includes 3 adjustable-position barrel rests, 5 adjustable-position shelves, door organizer with sewn-in pouches and holsters and a factory-installed electrical outlet
