fingerprint scanner is very unreliable. arrived with dead batteries and nothing other than key works if they get jarred or they die. so have key ready. Pros: price Cons: not reliable

Product Info for Stack-On Personal Safe w/ Biometric Lock

The Stack-On Personal Safe with Biometric Lock is great security for pistols, ammo and valuables at home, on the road, or in the office. The Stack-On Biometric Safe includes one adjustable shelf, so you can organize just how you want. The shelf and the bottom are foam padded to prevent risk of scratches. This is a California approved firearms safety device that meets the requirements of the California Penal Code Section 12088 and the regulations issued thereunder. The biometric lock can be programmed to accept up to 32 different fingerprints, which provides greater security and quicker access to the safe's contents. There is also an electronic lock and hidden trouble key included. The Stack-On Biometric Pistol Safe is constructed of solid steel with a pry-resistant door that has concealed hinges and two steel live action locking bolts.image
