With the Stellarvue 80mm F-6 Apochromatic Triplet Telescope SVR80ST-2 you can get a top performing apo triplet telescope using the Stellarvue FPL-53 fully multicoated, triple tested apo objective. This high Strehl triplet apo lens is not just another import, it is a star tested, state of the art apo triplet that performs as well as the legendary Lomo objective both visual and photographically using the Stellarvue SFFR80ST2 Field Flattener. The Stellarvue SVR80ST-2 telescope comes with a 2inch feather touch focuser, their cnc clamshell ring with Vixen dovetail and the side reinforced C7 airline carry-on case. Objective Lens: Stellarvue triple tested 80 mm f-6 apo triplet Ohara FPL-53
Tube Assembly: Carbon fiber, painted ultra flat black inside and fully baffled
Dewshield: 4 1/6" diameter retracting carbon fiber dewshield with threaded aluminum cap
Focuser: 2" Feather Touch dual speed reverse Crayford focuser with compression ring and a 1.25" compression ring adapter
Mounting Ring: Stellarvue's R90C cnc clamshell mounting ring with Vixen dovetail rail.
Dimensions: 3.5" diameter main tube and 4 1/8" diameter dew shield. OTA is 16" long with dewshield retracted and about 18 3/4" long when extended.
Weight: Optical tube weighs 5 lbs. Clamshell with Vixen rail is 1.2 pounds.
