Stellarvue Telescopes and Accessories announces the Stellarvue Black Anonized 80mm Nighthawk Next Generation - Standard SVNHNG, the next evolution of the highly-praised Nighthawk Telescope. Using a more advanced glass and a unique lens design, this latest in the Stellarvue Nighthawk series of Telescopes will significantly outperform other mass produced, short tube 80mm telescopes in many areas of operation. This is not a cheaply made telescope, Stellarvue makes each one of their Stellarvue Telescopes one by one, you'll see the quality first hand. It represents an extremely high level of mechanical quality doing justice to their exceptional optical systems. The new, standard dual speed Crayford focuser has a focus lock screw underneath. The focuser and 1.25" adapter use brass compression rings. The focus travel is more than 3" and there is a millimeter gauge on the top of the drawtube. The entire telescope is finished in high gloss black for a sleek look that will stand out in any star-watching event. The Stellarvue Nighthawk Next Generation Telescopes, like all of their instruments, will be hand made, one at a time so quality will not be sacrificed.image
