This has a good beam. Haven't used enough to judge battery life. I bought this for rechargeable qualities and you will always have a max beam when you need it.
Headstrap needs a middle strap front to back and it would stay on better.

The Streamlight Double Clutch USB Headlamp w/ 125 Lumens also comes with a locking mechanism that opens easily to access the battery compartment for recharging/replacing batteries, yet keeps the body from popping open if dropped. The Streamlight Double Clutch USB Headlamp w/ 125 Lumens is topped off with a low-profile construction that optimizes center of gravity, provides maximum comfort and gives plenty of stability during use.
