I bought this specific flash hider because of the detent notch. Not sure if it hides the flash yet. Like any AK guy though, I took my dremmel and cut the notch bigger. Fits snug now. Just disappointed I had to do that.
Works as well as a three prong flash hider should. Detent notch lines up,and works correctly. Installed on a PSAK-47 G3 ,allows tight fit up off a surplus Romainian bayonet.
Not much to say other than it is light weight, there is no ringing, it hides the flash as intended, and install was a piece of cake. 10/10 recommend for AK.

Product Info for Strike Industries XLogic AK Widow 3 Prong Flash Hider
This is the Strike | XLogic AK Widow Flash Hider for 7.62X39.
A simple but elegant design following traditional patterns for flash hiders. The AK Widow's 12 o'clock prong in particular allows gas to escape earlier than the bottom two prongs which ultimately help to mitigate and control muzzle rise. This three prong system especially helps to suppress the flash signature from firing and is not as loud compared to when using a compensator or muzzle brake.
The muzzle device includes a notch for the 12 o'clock detent on AK47 and AKM's to secure the AK Widow at the correctly timed position. Besides its flair of Strike aesthetic, this muzzle device is also compatible with most AKM style bayonets! For this product we partnered with XLogic, the creator of the ACSS Reticle system who is now entering the fray in the world of exceptional muzzle devices.
