So it's awesome, no recoil at all. However, the muzzle blast is oppressive. I would recommend for a bench gun or a range toy, or if you plan on running suppressed. For an unsuppressed defensive or offensive rifle, I cannot recomend a muzzle brake.

Surefire Socom muzzle break is a great addition to any platform. I have one on my AR, and purchased a second one for a 7.62 bolt action. Works as advertised as a break, and provides a perfect attachment for Surefire suppressors.

These Muzzle Brakes & Compensators made by SureFire vastly reduce recoil and muzzle rise which greatly improves accuracy and allows you to set your next shot up significantly quicker. The SureFire 1/2-28 Adapter is crafted using a parented Impulse Diffusion design that reduces side blast and rear-directed concussion effects to give you full visibility while pelting shots down range.
