Surefire OPPS Helmet Rail Mounting System is an ultra-lightweight one-piece mounting system designed to secure a laser/camera module or other mounted accessory to a helmet's crossguard rail. Utilizing MRO's (Modular Picatinny) rails, the OPPS allows quick attachment of the device in forward or backward configurations. The OPPS mounts a low-rise night vision monocular device, and a magnified long-range magnifier, which can be used with long-range surveillance systems, e.g., a hog hound scope. It is designed for mounting to standard helmet-mounted rails or panels. Equipped with a single clamping point, the OPPS provides a very stable mechanism for mounting a laser/imprinting device. All mounting hardware and a detailed instruction manual are included.
