The trauma pads are high quality and hopefully I never have to find out how well they work. They shipped quickly and the price was great. They fit nicely in the soft plate carrier. They are light enough they they do not affect the concealment.

While the idea is good, it is too thin behind steel plates. You need at least 1 inch behind steel otherwise you will damage some organs especially with caliber such as the 308.

Non-Newtonian foam absorbs the energy transfer when a round hits the body armor plate keeping you in the fight. This is the same stuff you see in motorcycle protective gear. Tacticon body armor trauma pads mitigate the damage to your body caused by back face deformation to the plate (i.e. broken ribs, etc.). Additionally, our lightweight trauma pads increase comfort and wearability by providing a padded barrier between you and your Tacticon AR500 / AR600 body armor plates.
