Good Light For Lite Use

Light is good for lite use. Wish the IR light was brighter. Has 3 light selections(blue, green, and white). Wish they had red, but green will do. If you're using it for night ops, it has to be on your vest looking down close to your hands by your waist.

Vortex Spitfire 1x-AR Prism Scope
I bought this cause I needed a mid size red dot and with a reputable name. Its alright for the brand. Only thing I don't like is that the red out ring of the red dot actually touches the outer lense. It is not small like in the pictures. This would be used for close quarters, nothing over 50 yards. This site is used for quick acquisition targets.

While the idea is good, it is too thin behind steel plates. You need at least 1 inch behind steel otherwise you will damage some organs especially with caliber such as the 308.

Condor Outdoor Gunner Plate Carrier
Bought this for work(mil) cause it was the last camo one. It's longer then the traditional carriers. Also the adjusting of the shoulder straps is very similiar to the skydiving rigs. It's just an awkward vest to wear. I have used Condor products for years because of their durability.

Aimpoint CompM4 Red Dot Sight w/ QRP2 Mount
I have used these sights multiple times in the military and still do in my current unit. The only thing good I can say about them is that they are durable. The glass is too small and good luck trying to look down range if you have a helmet without low cut sides. Once the glass gets dirty in the field, it's extremely difficult to get cleaned. The glass itself is small, if it was slightly bigger, it would be easier to look down range. The red dot is smaller then it should be, needs to be 3 MOA or bigger. It also needs to be at least 3x mag otherwise you're only clearing rooms. The brand itself is good, but not this product.

Originally bought one from Amazon. Was very iffy on the brand and style. After mutiple uses, I am a fan. I biught it for it for mid range, but end up using it for CQ. Would buy another. I don't have anything negative.

AR500 Armor Testudo Gen 2 Plate Carrier
I've always trusted this brand which is why my review is 4 stars and not 5. The quality of this item is very well built. The only issue I have is that the two connecting shoulder straps for the rear carrier are 1 INCH LOWER then they are suppose to be resulting in the rear plate being pushed out from your shoulders. Not sure why this is done, but it is a fault that can become deadly. Otherwise I like the carrier. I'm 5 10, 130lbs so it fits me.

Range Tool AR15 Billet Upper Receiver
Bought this a while back for my rebuild. Skinny and lite, but very well made. It also had a matte finish which is very nice. It is very easy to clean as well and it doesn't scratch as easily unlike the satin finish uppers.

For minor repairs, this will do. If you are assembling a stripped upper, you need an aluminum vice block. You also need a full size bench vise for this too work. I would not recommend for any barrel mounting activities as this block is not meant for heavy duty wear.
