Yes, if you were to use the CMMG, Inc 22LR AR Conversion Kit, which includes a BCG designed for AR15 upper receivers as well as a compatible charging handle and magazine, you would be able to use this upper as a dedicated .22LR AR. The CMMG conversion kit can be found linked below:

Bought this a while back for my rebuild. Skinny and lite, but very well made. It also had a matte finish which is very nice. It is very easy to clean as well and it doesn't scratch as easily unlike the satin finish uppers.

Product Info for Range Tool AR15 Billet Upper Receiver

The Range Tool AR15 Billet Upper Receiver is CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061 T6 aluminum. The range tool AR15 upper receiver does not have T marks on the top or anywhere on the sides like most billet uppers on the market. The parts are designed to be corrosion and wear resistant due to the extruded material used. This upper receiver also has M4 feed ramps like a true stripped upper. This upper receiver is designed to be mounted using the rear takedown pin hole, so a forward assist and shell deflector are not required. When a traditional forward assist and shell deflector are required, the range tool AR-15 upper receiver includes the forward assist and shell deflector drilled and tapped for them. When a forward assist and shell deflector are required, the range tool AR-15 receiver with M4 feed ramps is a great choice.
