super sleek receiver
When doing a budget build you’re normally stuck with one option, a cheap mail-spec style upper, but if you look hard enough you find gems like this. I wanted to build a super slim, lightweight budget rifle that won’t get caught on anything and was able to accomplish that with this receiver. I love t...

Was not painted, came raw no paint.
Description did not say or have enough details regarding the color of the receiver. I got a raw unpainted product when the picture showed it was painted black. If i had known this, i would not have placed my order.
Just OK, much better options
Have ran about 500 rounds through this upper. It is out of spec on some things. The catch area for the dust cover is not correct. 90% of the covers would not latch. Found one mil spec one that barely does. Also, the coating is super soft, will wear right off with any small amount of contact. The metal also seems overly soft, wearing and rounding off edges much faster than other forged and billet uppers I have. Almost feels like something off Temu or Ebay. I would steer clear. Glad I bought my at the deep mark down price I did.
Pros:
- Cheap
Cons:
- Finish
- softness
Best Used for:
- safe queens

Big Bang for your Buck
While searching for affordable billet non-forward assist uppers I came across this. It was perfect for what I wanted, something that was billet, something that was different then what everyone uses, something sleek and simple. It turned out to be perfect. High quality, great finish, made in USA. I matched it up with the AIM Sports Inc AR/M4 13.5” keymod Gen2 handguard and they mated beautifully. Highly recommend this upper

Quality Made
Bought this a while back for my rebuild. Skinny and lite, but very well made. It also had a matte finish which is very nice. It is very easy to clean as well and it doesn't scratch as easily unlike the satin finish uppers.
Pros:
- Quality
- Skinny
Cons:
- None

great basic billet receiver
The quality seemed pretty good and this billet receiver is quite thick and sturdy. My only problem was i didnt check how it would fit with my handguard that had anti rotation tabs that slips over a milspec receiver. Ive since bought something else that works but in general this is a great stout upper receiver.
