This Tiger Rock Compensator was specifically designed with the .308 AR platform in mind. The unique two chamber design of this muzzle brake allows you to redirect muzzle blast to reduce recoil and also acts as a brake by holding your .308 gas tube in place. We highly recommend putting a .308 gas tube and compensator on every .308 rifle you own. The combination of the .308 gas tube and compensator keeps the recoil and gas tube in place, which allows you to focus on shooting the target and not on avoiding your shot. The .308 compensator works on all .308 rifle platforms including those with a 5/8x24 TPI thread. You can check your .308 bolt for the appropriate thread pitch before you buy.
