In response to shooter requests, the new Tiger Rock Low Concussion (LC) muzzle brake is designed to be a more versatile and user-friendly muzzle device. This new design features a 1-1/2" chamber opening, which is large enough to allow the operator to easily see and hear the muzzle rise. The chamber opening can be easily adjusted with a hand wrench, which is provided. The front of the Tiger Rock LC muzzle brake is made from a proprietary formulated hardened material that has been abrasion resistant for many years. This durability allows for the use of a harder and larger BCM type of nitride type finish that will resist the build up of dirt and carbon that can form on the inside of a traditional muzzle brake. Reducing muzzle blast also has an effect on stealthy auto-loading targets such as skunks and coyotes due to less muzzle blast. The use of a nitride finish in a woven nylon material greatly increases the effectiveness of this muzzle device. Fits any standard AR-15 style muzzle equipped with a 1/2" -28 thread pitch TPI Knurled threaded muzzle device. Example: Using a skunk with a 1/2in - 28 Pitch TPI Knurled muzzle device significantly reduces muzzle blast, as the reduced internal volume and smooth inside reduces dust and debris bourne from gasses entering the breech. Reducing muzzle blast is also an effective way of turning a suppressor on or off. The design of the Tiger Rock LC muzzle brake doesn't require the loosening of the threads as this muzzle device clamps on the end, which provides additional stability. The impregning is performed by hand using nitride - assuring the finest possible finish. The installation of the Tiger Rock LC muzzle brake is similar to that of a nut - simply turn it counter-clockwise to open the gas ports, which results in a reduction in overall weight over that of a conventional muzzle device.
