Questions & Answers
Is this a Drop in trigger , or would I need pins. I own a Diamond Back DB10 in a 308.

You need anti walk pins on all the cartridge triggers. most companies provide the anti walk pins with the triggers if they don't. Don't purchase them. They don't need our business. cartridge triggers that people call "drop in" are all put together and you just slide the cartridge in. Regular GI pins are held in place by the hammer and trigger spring legs. It is pointless to slide a cartridge triggerbon and have no way to keep it on place. again, the point is, they should come with the trigger cartridge. if they don't they ain't worth the trouble. They cost almost nothing to include. The real purpose for a cartridge trigger is the quality control is on the trigger maker not on the receivers machining. holes could be slightly off which changes the geometry of the sears, that release the hammer. two part triggers manufacturers throw out thier QC when they have no idea which lower they are being placed into. putting a 300.00 two part GI type trigger in an inexpensive low budget forged lower is throwing money away. the two holes have about 8 directions that they can be off slightly. and there are two sides. the holes if done correctly are milled from each side not straight through, unless they have some kind of super machine that can make sure the placement is exactly perfect. I once purchased a the most expensive "G" trigger they made a SDE version. I out it in a cheap forged lower. it changed the contact points of the trigger and the gun would go off at the slightest touch. the ...

BEST BUDGET TRIGGER by Texas2A, April 6, 2024
IT is the best budget trigger you can buy (PERIOD). Nothing comes close, the MBT-2S is joke at 115 maybe when they were 80 but even then this trigger would be well worth the upgrade. Having owned Diamonds, competition and now the duty range of TT. ...
