The TROY Claymore Muzzle Brake has not been tested on the 257 weatherby Magnum. The .257 Weatherby Magnum has a muzzle energy of 2708 foot-pounds, while the .308 Winchester has 3009 foot-pounds. The thread pitch on the muzzle device will work on the .257.

Installed on a 5.56/223 chamber (5/8x24 tpi) this rifle muzzle accessory features a swivel dust cover and a versatile t-handle that can be used ideally in emergency breaching situations. The ventilated baffle chambers of the Troy Muzzle Brake direct muzzle blast and sound forward, away from the shooter, while retaining effective muzzle brake properties. For a great muzzle brake that does not produce a swirling effect the Troy Muzzle Brake is the way to go.
