I bought one of these several years ago from Troy itself, and it did come with a crush washer. Mine oriented perfectly. It's a great brake, just don't let anyone stand off to the side when you shoot LOL. It'll rock you

The Troy Medieval Muzzle Brake was a very good choice for the Rifle made a big change in control. A lot better groups on the target at 100yds. Recoil and muzzle rise 50% less. This was a very good choice
