22-23" equates to what hat size number? 7.25, 7.5, 7?

Measure around your head in inches, then divide by π to get American hat size. 22" is a size 7, and 23" is a little larger than 7¼. In a proper dress hat, I wear a 7⅛. I have no idea about mm's, cm's, and NATO size.
