Commonly known simply as the Tokarev, these pistols were based on the Browning recoil design. The model TT-33 is a redesigned variant of the model TT-30, made to simplify manufacturing. The TT-33 was widely used by Soviet troops during World War II. Models produced before and during WWII can fetch much higher prices.
