Eliminates all if any recoil especially on a .223/5.56 smith & wesson sport II. It's very easy to install without any crush washers. A must get and you will def thank me later. I would include a photo of my setup if it was possible.

The elimination of the crush washer is why I went with this brand over others. Wish the timing nut was longer and eliminated the washer placeholder for the front sight. Spendy but less than half the price of the Hellfire.

Product Info for Ultradyne Mercury .223/5.56 Muzzle Brakes
MERCURY has been meticulously engineered for the .223/5.56 caliber to provide superior recoil reduction and neutralize muzzle rise with a smooth, balanced release of blast energy. Progressive 90 degrees side ports vent combusting gases at intervals that spread out the recoil impulse for efficient, accurate follow-up shots. Three prongs forward of the bore further enhance stability during operation while simultaneously providing additional flash control. Like all Ultradyne muzzle devices, a timing nut is included for easy installation.
