The V Seven Ultra-Light 2099 Lithium Aluminum Handguard w/ QD Mounts, MLOK interface, and proprietary mounting system that ensure maximum ease of use, flexibility, and longevity for the AR shooter. Produced from a proprietary Lithium Aluminum Alloy, the MLOK interface eliminates the need for a locking gas block, while at the same time, reducing weight. This is made possible by the advanced alloys unique manufacturing process that creates 6061 from 2099. Lithium Aluminum Alloy is a revolutionary advancement in the composites industry and a testament to V Seven's pursuit of perfection. With the same close attention to detail that is found in aerospace industries, we were able to reduce the weight of our handguards by producing them from a different aluminum that is subsequently made into 2099 and then made into MLOK quick-detach sockets. This allows our customers to not only save weight, but also gain a better grasp when shooting, squeezing, and turning because of its excellent bending strength. In addition, this new material is also corrosion resistant, which means you will have a lifetime of use for the lifetime of your handguard.
