V Seven M-LOK Ultra-Light Handguards for AR15 are made from the highest quality Lithium Aluminum Alloy - the same material used in bullet casings - a material that will not rust, will not corrode, will not develop stress cracks nearly as fast as carbon fiber. The material is ULTRA lightweight and resistant to most ALL corrosion. The rails have been tested and qualified by third parties. This rail is also eligible for many government & Mil programs. This is the rail you want when every ounce counts. More importantly, the weight you save now can potentially save you a great deal of time & energy in the field. The lightweight handguards & barrel nuts are included in the package. The barrel nut is black anodized, significantly harder and stronger than 7075 aluminum. It is V Seven's superior manufacturing process that doesn't add any extra weight to the overall system.image
